The Invasion

OOC: That sounds okay to me, Aero. Though, aren't all-OOC posts supposed to be in the 'Invasion's Discussion' topic?

Also, Riglax, MUers DO understand love -- at a certain level. It's more like a higher version of loyalty, though.

IC:

Nova looked around. The party seemed pretty much over; no one seemed to be inclined to have any more fun.

"So," said Nova, "why don't we find this 'Chaos' and stop him? We need everyone out of the way before we take on the Perfectionist, right?"

OOC: Got it.

IC:

"I really have no idea where Chaos is." Aero mumbled. "He was gone when I last saw him, but he may appear in your dreams. I don't know what powers he has but he must be powerful." His mask glowed as his group began to heal their wounds faster.

~Aero~

IC:

Nova sat on the ground, shaking his head to clear the afteraffects of the battle. "We have to do something," he mumbled. "But what? At any rate, I'm against staying here and waiting."

He turned to Aero, whose Mask of Healing was glowing now. "Do you have any idea of where Chaos has set up shop?" he asked. "Even if he's not there, we could destroy his home -- if he has one, that is."

IC:

"That's the problem. I know that he is alot older than all of us combined. He is alot older than Teridax and certainly older than the stars. My team encountered him and barely survived. I remember two red eyes staring straight into my heart and I felt true fear." Aero said shaking his glowing mask. "His birth is still shaky to me. Some say that when the worlds were made, he came from an egg. He is the darkness and would tend to linger in the darkest parts. Tell me, where tends to be the place with the most shadow. We may want to send some scouts up ahead, I'll volunteer and help out the scouts. If we see two red eyes and an strange laughter then we have our man."

~Aero~

IC:

"But surely he won't simply reveal himself," Nova remarked. "We have to be on guard." He looked around himself, as if wondering where those red eyes and that maniacal laugh were now. "He may have bodyguards as well -- those shadow beasts probably fill that position."

Nova looked at each one of them in turn. Aero, his Mask of Healing still glowing. Reina, the spirited Toa of Lightning. Varkan, Toa of the Green. Kpik, Toa of Ice.

How many of them would face death in the eyes before they met their end, be it success or disaster?

"I, for one," said Nova, standing up, "am going to do whatever I can to stop this threat to civilization. I've been a loner all these years -- but I am willing to team up for the sake of this planet." His yellow eyes glowed. "Who will join me?"

OOC: Toa Untold

IC: Chytry was running towards Teridax.

"Teridax! Hear me!" But, .... it wasn't him. It was just a Toa with golden armor. She ran back to the pack, and while being far away, she heard Nova, that guy yes, saying something about a Team. Chytry was a really good listener.

Without thinking she thought this was the best way of following them.

"I'm in" she said.

IC:

Nova turned to the speaker, a female Toa of Sand. "Welcome to the team," he said with a smile. "And your name?"

IC: "I'm happy to meet ya all, and my Name is Chytry, although friends call me Cyry, ....for fun!"

IC:

"So our journey begins." Aero mused as his mask stopped glowing as the team was healed. He took out his katanas and swore he saw two red eyes in the reflection. He ignored it and went with the group.

However Chaos was watching them from the shadows and laughed. He could sense their fear and watched their every move.

"Those fools are marching straight into a lion's den." Chaos said. "Brothers, prepare for a feast. Our dinner awaits us."

~Aero~

IC:

"Chytry," said Nova, "welcome to the team -- and you, too, Aero."

He turned to the others. "We need all the help we can get," he prompted.

IC: "All the help you can get, eh? then maybe I can help you by offering my assistance." Everyone jumped; no one had seen Korex standing there. "Listen," Korex said, "I know that not all of you are exactly fond of me, but I'm powerful. I've been fighting for years, so I'd be a huge asset to your little team. What do ya say?"

IC:

"As long as you can fight, it's fine with me," said Nova. "And your name...?"
