I'm guessing that wasn't directed at me….

Anyway….
I think that we should open with Lein at his trading post, but closing up early when a shady Matoran that he does business with arrives. Lein leads him into the back off his shop, and the Matoran brings in a rare (endangered and illegal) creature, which Lein promptly purchases.

Thoughts?

Group 5 is Altus Bellum. Group 6 might be the sequel to TGC. And Group 7 sequel to Lein's Tale.

Sooo, the black market thing is good, but we need to elaborate. Like his motives for black-marketing.
How about the girlfriend character steals his money that he earned, so he he has to black-market to get money to put food on his table.

Eh…not feeling it. But I like the idea that maybe he's desperate and owes some shady characters money.

Maybe money got to his head and he thought he could double it, so put nearly everything on a bet. And lost. Now he's gotta black market to earn the money to pay the bet off and to feed himself.
I dunno.

Anyway, the sequel name thing how about...

Death Approaches.
Or something more epic and brooding. About the end of Lein's life.

Lein At War
About his times in the core war, maybe selling weapons and equipment, and the complications that brings with other armies he's supplied and such. Again, a nice concept but a lame name.

You know what, I like that idea. And you know what else? Maybe Lein's girlfriend persuaded him to take the bet!

I think we're onto something here...

Also, here are my ideas for the names:

Separation
Divided We Fall
After the End (sort of lame, but whatever)

Toa Spirit, I plan for us to add Lein's death into the end of Lein's Tale. Wink

This next serial will be about life on Bota Magna after the Shattering.

You're in the group, aren't you? We'll be working on the sequel after we work on this serial.

So. Any more ideas for the name of Lein's girlfriend, and the name for the serial? If no one comes up with any in a few days, I'll post a poll for it. Wink

Moving on:
Still not sure about the whole girlfriend thing. I really don't feel that it contributes to the story. Also, we have to remember that he is in the middle of a jungle. Think of what could possibly happen in a jungle, and focus on that.

Actually, that's not what I meant by "Think about what could happen in a jungle…." What I really meant was put the girlfriend idea behind us and focus on the setting and how that will affect Lein's tale.

Do you read what I write? First the serial will be 5 Chapters long. We can pull off 5 Chapters IN A WEEK WITH 7 WRITERS. Second after that what? Will just let the writers leave? Trust there are people here only for writing. And yes I want them to come.

The whole girlfriend thing's kinda important, because in the possible plot we came up with she's the one who persuaded Lein to take the bet and then etc etc...

Of course that might not be the plot.

As for what happens in a jungle, the description of Lein's tale is about Black-Market. Dunno what we can jungle in that apart from it being in a jungle. Question
