Auditioning!!!

Okay guys, I finally worked this whole auditioning thing out.

From this date (August 8, 2010) until the 18th 30th (-Riglax), which should be about ten days, you can send your lines to ' Their_Mistake_Podcast@verizon.net ' Please tell me if that doesn't work for you.

Below, just post which part(s) you're interested in voicing. Then its up to you to record them, and send them in as an attatchment to me. I'm pretty flexible, so if the dates aren't good for you, just tell me. Also, when you're emailing, tell me who you are, so I know who's auditioned and who hasn't. I'm sure I'm forgetting to mention some things, so just ask away people!

Edit: Deadline has been moved to August 30th guys! There's still time to get your auditions in!

What do you want it to be like? For example, do you want rock to be a deep voice?

Okay, well, we can probably do either. I'm pretty sure ~Aero~ wants to be Jungle, so is Rock okay with you?

SO, like he asked, should the EL of Rock for example have a certain quality of voice?

Well, I was thinking somewhere along the lines of deep, menacing, kinda like a bully. A smart bully, if that helps

Hmm... What type of voice do you think the Element Lord of Fire should have? So far in my practicing, I went for a deep Mata-Nui esque voice that he had in TLR. I can try something else, but something tells me that my acting won't be as convincing .

Mata-Nui-esque would work. Personally, Mata Nui talks a bit too slowly for me. I was thinking more Tahu/Ackar-ish voice. But whatever works for you, since you're the actor. I don't think I can afford to cut anyone, so just do your best! I'm sure we'll be impressed.

Alright, I'll try to do an Ackar voice since I don't remember what Tahu sounds like XD. Though if that doesn't turn out well I may revert back to my original plan, but I'll try to talk a bit faster than Mata Nui did.

Kinda off topic, but I won't be active for the next few days; going backpacking .

Haha, no problemo!! backpacking sounds so fun! I've always wanted to try it, becasue I dont' like tents and pop-up campers. Have funn!

Thanks. Yeah, it is pretty neat, though it can get pretty miserable when hiking for a day straight.... I'm not in the best of shape anymore, lol.

To keep on track with the topic, does anybody know of a cheap but good quality type of microphone that I can buy to read off my lines? Been looking at some mics and they all seem kinda bad quality within the price range that I was looking at. Probably not going to lay down more than $30, though .

Hm. Thanks for the tip; I'll probably look around and see what they have at WalMart when I get back. I hope I manage to pick out a good one .

Hmm... EL of Jungle, huh. Yeah... He's kinda hard. I picture him as having a voice that's kinda like a mix of Onua Nuva from MoL and Tarix, even though he had like one line in TLR. They're both strike me as strong and self-confident, but choose to stay on the queiter side, if you know what I mean. Not as gravelly as Onua's voice, and not as soft spoken as Tarix. And then whatever unique twang you'll bring to his character, of course.

Also, I'm having technical difficulties over on my end too. But they should (<-- key word) be fixed now. XD. I can extend the due date, if need be as well. I don't want to rush this project.

A thought occured- we dont yet know which are male and which are female.

yeah... about that. We're just going to be creative. XD. Greg confirmed that everyone's male, except Ice and Sand, which remain undecided. Toa Naruto wanted to go out for the EL of Ice, so he's gonna be male. And we were thinking about having the EL of Sand female, becasue we didn't want all male characters

Okay, I sent an e-mail with my audition tape for this project. In the tape I voice the Element Lord of Rock, the Element Lord of Water, and the narrator. Please reply to this post telling me which parts I can get (though it seems Dark Hunter already has rock).

Im also gonna do Jungle. Those two characters appeal to me very much, such interesting and opposing personalities

Hey Dark Hunter. Both Rock and Jungle are being auditioned for by multiple people. you might wanna pick a third character to audtion for, just in case.

Open parts with no voices are Fire and Sand (who may be female).

Edit: Okay, guys. I have Legolover-361, Aero, and Toa Naruto's auditions thus far. I'm still waiting on the rest of y'all. If anyone see's Toa Naruto around, tell him I'm looking for him too, okay?

Which roles have only one audition tape?

Ice, Sand (female?) and Fire has no one.

If Sand is going to be female (though I'd rather wait for Greg's confirmation on that), then I guess you're it.

I might audition for the Element Lord of Fire...the thing is, I see him as more of an Ackar-Onua hybrid; powerful, but at the same time he knows what he's doing.

Yeah, mee too, but Greg said that all the EL's were male, except Ice and Sand, which are both undecided.
