Audition Script

Okay guys, here it is. Sorry for any delay. But click and highlight for the script. I would recommend copy and paste onto a Microsoft Word Document, or something, so you can practice, practice, practice. As for the actual auditions, I'm still working out the nitty gritty details with our Podcast Leader. Stay tuned, and I'll get the details to you.
Leave a questions, comment, complaint, etc. below! And keep hoping that more people will join up, because we're still short a few actors, and I don't want to have to double up on parts.
Also, to help me out, leave whichever part you might be interested in.

Audition Script
Disclaimer: I do not own Bionicle.
Parts –
Narrator
Element Lord of Fire – Leader like qualities, confident, more aggressive, head-strong, but rational
Element Lord of Water- Wise' but aloof, flexible, a bit more laid back, slow to decide
Element Lord of Jungle- Doesn’t pick sides, sees all sides of an argument, think-it-through approach to problems
Element Lord of Sand- Quick to take action, quick to judge, rash, impatient, proud, cunning, bold
Element Lord of Rock- Unpleasant, tactical and calculating, cruel sense of sarcastic humor
Element Lord of Ice- Stubborn, cold, quick witted, analytic, sees own opinion as the bestScene 1
Narrator: Four very powerful beings sat in meeting together, in a large, hexagonal stone chamber deep within the territory of the Ice Tribe. They don’t know for certain why they’ve been called to assembly, but they can guess.
EL of Fire: “Our frosty brother has called us all here, just to keep us waiting. I’m beginning to think that this is a waste of my time.”
EL of Sand: “Yes. Some of us have better things to do than sit around here and rust. I’ll give it five more minutes, and if nothing starts happening by then, I’m bailing.”
EL of Rock: “Yeah. Some of us have villages to plunder and mountains to crush.”
Narrator: The Lord of Jungle shoots the Element Lord of Rock a rather nasty look, unappreciative of the use of sarcasm, before speaking.
EL of Jungle: “Come, now, friends. We’d best be patient, and let events unfold as they wish to, if the matter is of that much importance.”
EL of Water: “Please don’t tell me you three cannot put reason as to why we’re here. Wrack your brains, and-“
EL of Sand: (interrupting) “Watch yourself, fish face. I wouldn’t test my patience, if I were you.”
EL of Rock: “Oh, I’m scared now. Look out, everyone, the Almighty Ruler of the Great Heap of Sand is out to get us!”
Narrator: The Element Lord of Sand jumps up, very angry, menacingly pacing over towards the Lord of Rock, weapons ready.
EL of Sand: “Do you want to find out just how almighty I can be? Because I’m sure you’ll think differently when my ‘heap of sand’ goes up your-“
EL of Jungle: “Both of you, knock it off and grow up! I know the rumors of the recently discovered silver liquid that is worth more than armies has put us all on edge. But that is no excuse to behave like animals.”
Narrator: That being said, the Element Lord of Jungle lowers his head, and lets the Lord of Water take the floor.
EL of Water: “Like our friend from the forest was saying. This substance that was rumored to be discovered, and rumored to hold powers greater than we can imagine, was also rumored to be found here, in the Ice Tribe’s territory.”
EL of Fire: “Yes, but you speak as though you know these rumors to be true. Why do you speak with such confidence, brother? Have your spies maybe told this to you?”
Narrator: Before the Element Lord of Fire can continue his suspicious questioning, the door to the chamber slams open. The five Element Lords fall silent, as a cold chill sweeps through the air, and an icy mist swirls into the room, followed by it’s owner.
EL of Ice: “Greetings, my friends, and my guests. I’m sorry to have kept you waiting.”
EL of Sand: (muttering) “You can say that again.”
Narrator: The Lord of Ice doesn’t bother to spare a glance at the sandy speaker, but continues.
EL of Ice: “I’ve heard you speak of dark rumors. I am here to put all of those rumors to rest.”
Narrator: As the Element Lord of Ice pauses for effect, the rest of his colleagues’ minds are swirling with questions. They all know the recent gossip about this mysterious silver liquid, and know that it exists.
EL of Ice: “They are true.”
Narrator: The room explodes in a barrage of biting accusations and demanding questions.
EL of Fire: “Do you mean you’ve kept this from us deliberately?”
EL of Water: “ You’re telling me that you have the potential power to put all our planet’s problems to rest, and you’ve not bothered to tell us until now?”
EL of Sand: “I knew it. I kept telling you all, that the stories were true, but you didn’t believe me.”
EL of Jungle: “I am not surprised at this. But I am surprised that you did not have the decency to share this information with us.”
EL of Rock: “I always thought you were a shifty one. You see fit to betray our confidence in you, by keeping this from us, eh? Well, why don’t you make amends, and share this silver substance with us. I think it’s the least we all deserve. After thousands of years of ruling together in peace, this is what it comes down to?”
Narrator: The silence of the Elemental Lord of Ice’s answer speaks louder than words. He has no intention of sharing this newfound power of his. As a dark, understanding silence falls over the gathered titans, a promise that goes without speaking is made. A promise of war.

On an other note: I'm getting GN 8 which has them inside, so we might be able to extract info from that.

Oh, that's great! Yeah, I was thinking maybe Rock or Water? I none of those parts interest you, by all means, choose your own. Or, we could tweak the character a bit more to your liking, as the actor, to suit you better. You pick

Can I audition for Ice too? Just decide which one is better. What does Ice sound like?

Yeah, of course. Try out for whomever you want. Whether it be one character, or all of them. You'll get the part you want the most and/or are best at. But for the EL of Ice, you'll have a bit of competition. XD. Toa Naruto's trying out as well for that part.
But as for what I picture him to sound like.
Think along the movie voices for Kopaka and Onewa, and Roodaka. Okay, yes, I know the EL of Ice is going to be male, and I know Roodaka is a girl. But Roodaka comes to mind, because they're both cunning. He's cunning like Roodaka, and has that dangerous air about him, if you know what I mean. Kopaka Nuva's voice in MoL, becaue it was cold, analytic, and icy, just like his element, and think of Onewa, because the EL and the Toa of Stone are both stubborn and quick witted, and sharp. But the EL of Ice wouldn't be a wisecrack like Onewa, though. Be creative, and have fun, most of all.

I'm not sure if this is what you're asking, but just read all the parts in the script for the character you want. Just read down the page. And if you want to try out for two parts, read through one part first, then read through the next part, but be sure to tell me when you're switching.
